Patrick Parrish Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of new hand-built ceramic works by Brooklyn artist Cody Hoyt. In "Mad Maps", Hoyt charts out his own process of discovery and making, in which pattern counters chaos, and each elaborate stoneware vessel is the relic of a particular experience. Amid the fundamentally volatile medium of ceramics, Hoyt pursues order and meaning through geometric empiricism.
