Angelo Lelii

ANGELO LELII (1911-1979) was an Italian light designer and founder of Arredoluce, known for his influential work in modern lighting design in postwar Italy. He began manufacturing lamps in his Monza house in 1943. He founded Arredoluce in 1947, quickly gaining a reputation for creating premium quality lights based on simple, functional designs characterized by minimalist and unadorned elegance.

He collaborated with notable designers such as Franco Albini, Achille Castiglioni, and Gio Ponti, and became famous for his designs, including the Triennale floor lamp.
